RunawayShe’s running away, In both body and mind, Running and searching, For the things she’ll find.Runaway
Trying to find who she is,
But also getting away, Doesn’t know what she needs, But knows she cannot stay.
Running from her problems,
And losing track of time, Doesn’t know where she’s going, Other than to leave it all behind.
Streets and sidewalks flying past,
Her feet become a blur, In her mind all’s serene, The running is her cure.
She finally stops,
To look around,
To see the ans

Those Left BehindThose left behind, Were both young and old, The things left behind, Were their stories still untold.Those Left Behind
Some are buried soldiers, Others they couldn’t find, Most are normal people, In the land war left behind.
Those that made it through, See the images burned in their minds, All the death and sorrow, Makes them question all mankind.
Those left back in the land, Are silent as the grave, Not recognized for what they did, Or how they’d been so brave.
People only see the numbers, When looking back on war,
